With Easy-Laser XT770 you can perform shaft alignment of horizontal and vertically/flange mounted machines, but also align machine trains, measure twist of foundation, soft foot, bearing clearance, and more. The EasyTrend program allows you to keep track of machine movement over time. That is useful when checking for thermal expansion and pipe strain issues for example.
2 axis PSDs (position sensitive detectors) permit adjustment of your machine both vertically and horizontally at the same time, with measuring units in any position. We call it 360° Live adjustment. With the XT770 you have a choice of several different measurement methods, e.g. continuous sweep and multipoint. This gives you the flexibility you need to achieve the perfect measurement result.
Easy-Laser XT measuring units and display unit are shockproof and rated both IP66 and IP67 water and dust proof. Along with long operating times, this guarantees you will be able to take on and finish even the toughest jobs.
Use the rugged Easy-Laser XT11 display unit, or install the free XT Alignment app on your iOS or Android device*. The intuitive user interface guides you through the measurement process.
The XT11 display unit has a 13MP camera. You can also get the XT11 display unit with a built-in IR camera.** This means you can add a thermal image of the machine before and after alignment. You can easily create and share a PDF report containing all measurement data and images.
With this kit added to your XT770, using the Values program, you will be able to take flatness and straightness measurements with the highest reliability and precision. The kit includes the very versatile and long proven laser transmitter D22 plus geo brackets.

With the EasyTurn™ function you can start measurement anywhere on the turn. Turn the shafts with the measuring units to three positions in any direction with as little as 20° between to register the measurement value. Measurement is complete! For advanced applications, such as turbines, there is a Multipoint function where any number of measuring points around the whole or part of the rotation can be registered.
Adjust with live values also when measuring units are positioned up to 44° from absolute V and H position.
The adjustment guide helps you decide optimum adjustment by simulating shimming and move. For programs Horizontal and Machine train.
Makes it possible to keep track of machine movement over time. Thus you can check for e.g. thermal expansion and pipe strain issues.
Alignment work begins with a soft foot check. The soft foot check ensures that the machine is resting evenly on all its feet by indicating which foot/feet should be adjusted. This is an important part of securing a reliable alignment. After the soft foot check is complete, you can go directly to the alignment program with all of the machine’s distance values saved.
The Values program has a clear digital representation of the laser target, and a list view for recorded values. Use it to measure as with dial gauges and to check bearing play. Can also be used to perform many types of geometric measurements.
Using the system you can align sheaves and pulleys with digital precision. Adjustment of the machines is displayed in real time on the screen, with readings for angle and axial displacement in both the vertical and horizontal axes, as well as an adjustment value for the front or rear foot pair. The result can be documented as normal. (Requires the XT190 BTA accessory.)

The app includes a searchable Users Manual which opens the right chapter depending where in the process you are. This makes it quick and easy to find the answer to your user questions.
Choose from different 3D machines to portray your machinery on either side of the coupling.
Lock any pair of feet on the machine. Used when aligning base-bound or bolt-bound machines.
Measurement results can be checked against pre-defined tolerance tables or values you determine yourself. This allows you to immediately see if the alignment is within the approved parameters, thereby considerably reducing the amount of time spent on alignment.

Oftentimes, machines expand considerably when moving from a cold to hot operating temperature. The Thermal Growth Compensation function allows the measurement system to calculate the appropriate shims and values needed to make adjustments in such cases. Compensation values for the machines are normally supplied by the manufacturers.
An advanced electronic filter function can be used to achieve reliable results even under poor measuring conditions. Air turbulence and vibrations from adjacent machines are no match for the Easy-Laser® filter function!
The software can adjust to machine designs of all types such as those with two pairs of feet, three pairs of feet, and feet in front of the coupling, etc.

A large 8", glove enabled touch-screen makes the information clear and the app easy to use. The small OLED display shows battery status of both measuring units and display unit. You can check battery status also when the unit is turned off. The clever lock-screen button prevents unintentional clicks, for instance when moving between work positions.
*The camera can be removed if security reasons require.
The XT70 measuring units utilize dot-type laser and 2-axis square PSD surfaces. A state-of-the-art OLED display shows the angle of the unit, making it easier to position it on the shaft.
